Corby stabbing victim still in critical condition

A man stabbed in Corby last week remains in a critical condition, police have said.

The victim, named as Ian Little in court, was stabbed at a house in Landseer Court on Tuesday night (March 3) and has been in a 'very grave' condition since.

Roddi Stewart, 33, from Greig Walk on the Danesholme estate in Corby, appeared before magistrates in Northampton on Friday (March 6) charged with GBH in connection with the incident.

He is accused of stabbing Mr Little and the court heard it is thought Mr Little may not survive.

Wearing a grey tracksuit, Stewart spoke only to confirm his name and address and kept his head bowed throughout the hearing.

He was remanded in custody ahead of his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court in April.
