Corby resident to appear at court accused of war disability pension fraud

A man will appear before magistrates tomorrow (Monday) accused of claiming to be more disabled than he was to get an increased war pension.

Davebenalphason Clarkson-Momsesayoh, 46, has been charged with fraud by false representation over an offence alleged to have taken place between January 2014 and July 2017.

Clarkson-Momsesayoh, who is Sierra Leonean and is of Burghley Drive in Corby, is alleged to have claimed to have been more physically disabled than he was.

Prosecutors allege he did this intending to get an increased Ministry of Defence war disability pension worth £69,097.17 from Veterans UK.

Clarkson-Momsesayoh will make his first appearance before magistrates in Northampton tomorrow.
