A Corby man has been charged with stalking and arson

Peter John McKay, 42, of no fixed address, but from Corby, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court today (Friday).

He was charged with one count of stalking involving fear of violence in relation to an incident that happened on Wednesday, November 20.

He was charged with arson with recklessness to endangering lives and attempted arson with intent to endanger life following an incident that happened in the town early yesterday morning (Thursday, November 21).

McKay was remanded in custody and will appear in Northampton Crown Court at a date to be confirmed.
