Corby man charged in relation to Kettering stabbing

A man has been charged in relation to the stabbing that happened in Kettering on Friday night (April 17).

Andros Baker Allen, of Newark Drive, Corby, has today (April 19) been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.

The 37-year-old was arrested after reports of an incident in Fishton Close in Kettering at around 6.15pm on Friday.The victim of the Highfield estate attack, who is in his late forties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman has today (April 19) confirmed that he remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.

Allen, who is believed to be known to the victim, will face his charges as he appears at Northampton Magistrates' Court tomorrow (April 20).
