CCTV clue in hunt for Northampton underpass attacker

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man in a pink hoodie they believe may have information about an assault in Northampton last month.

Detectives are investigating after a woman in her late teens was attacked in broad daylight while walking through an underpass at Ecton Brook Road.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "This incident happened on Sunday, February 2, between 1.30pm and 2.45pm.

"We would ask the man in the image or anyone who recognises him to come forward by calling us on 101 quoting Incident number 20000065154."
