Cash stolen from man in Corby town centre

Cash was stolen from the back pocket of a man who had just withdrawn the money from a bank in Corby town centre.

The theft happened on Wednesday (February 13) around 11am as the man was walking through the alleyway next to Iceland store in Corporation Street.

A police spokesman said: “The 59-year-old victim was approached from behind by two men. One of them removed the money from the victim’s back pocket.”

Both men were white, in their twenties and about 5ft 9ins tall. One was wearing a grey hat and blue jeans.
