Burglar stole charity box from KFC in Northampton after smashing window

A burglar stole a charity box from a KFC in Northampton after they smashed a window at the front of the restaurant.

A burglary took place at KFC in Northampton

The burglary happened at the Towcester Road branch between 2am and 3am on yesterday (Wednesday), when the two men smashed a window at the front of the restaurant. One of the men went inside and, after finding the till empty, took a charity collection box off the counter. Both men then headed towards the canal.

One of the men is described as wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans.
