Boy punched and kicked repeatedly in Irthlingborough

Two boys were attacked by three others on a footpath in Church Street in Irthlingborough.

Police have launched an appeal today (January 29) after the incident on Friday, January 17, between 4pm and 4.20pm when the teenage victims were assaulted by three other boys on a footpath behind the church.

One of the boys was kicked and punched repeatedly.

A police spokesman said: "The first offender is described as a white boy, aged 16, of average build, about 5ft 9in tall and wearing white trainers, a grey hoodie and grey tracksuit bottoms.

"He was carrying a manbag.

"The second offender is described as a white boy, aged 12 to 13 and about 5ft 3in tall.

"He had short brown hair and was wearing black trainers, a black puffa jacket and black jogging bottoms. He was carrying a white Guess man bag.

"The third offender is described as a boy, about 6ft 2in tall and wearing a black, grey and white jacket."

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
