CCTV images have been released of a man seen acting ‘suspiciously’ in two Northamptonshire shopping areas as part of a police bid to trace him.

The man, who is believed to be aged somewhere between 50 and 65, was seen in both the Weston Favell Centre and at the Standens Barn shops on Friday, April 24, according to Northamptonshire Police.

A force spokesperson said he is wanted in connection with two ‘suspicious’ incidents.

He was initially seen at the Weston Favell Centre at about 6.25pm. He was then seen at the Standens Barn Shops at about 7pm.

He is balding, with short grey hair, and was wearing a blue polo shirt with a stripe on the collar and light grey tracksuit bottoms.

Officers investigating the case have urged anyone who knows who the man is to contact them.

A police spokesperson said the force would not elaborate further on the nature of the ‘suspicious incidents’ the man is wanted in connection with.
