Police are urging businesses to be extra vigilant following armed raids on a pub and a restaurant over the weekend.
An armed robbery took place at the Fox and Hounds pub, Harlestone, early on Saturday, March 7.
Between 11.45pm on Friday and midnight on Saturday, three armed men, threatened staff in the pub and made off with property.
Officers investigating the robbery believe it to be linked to a similar robbery at Buddies USA, in Upton Way, Sixfields, between 10pm and 10.30pm on Thursday, March 5.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and are reminding business owners, managers and staff to be extra vigilant about their surroundings, in particular around opening and closing times.
