Appeal for help after confrontation in Corby

Police are appealing for information about a suspicious incident in Oldland Road, Corby.

At some time between 4.30pm and 5.15pm on Sunday afternoon, an 18-year-old woman was walking her dog along Oldland Road when she was approached by a man who pulled up beside her in a dark-coloured vehicle.

The man got out of the vehicle and there was a confrontation between the man and woman.

A man who was passing by then intervened and the woman ran off towards Oakley Road.

The offender is described as a tanned white man, very tall, large and completely bald. He was aged in his late 30s and was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and black trainers.

Another man was sitting in the front seat of the vehicle, he was also tanned, white, and had short dark hair.

Officers are keen to speak to the man who intervened.
