Appeal after men try door handle in Kettering street

Two young men are wanted by police after they were seen trying a door handle in a Kettering street.

Today (September 8) officers are appealing for information after the incident, which took place at about 5.30pm on August 28.

Five young men ran from Crown Street into Regent Street, where two of them approached a property and tried the door handle before running off.

A police spokesman said: "The first is described as white, slim, in his late teens or early 20s, with dark hair, wearing a gold chain, a black T-shirt with a red logo on the chest and black bottoms.

"The other is described also as white, slim, in his late teens or early 20s wearing a grey, zip-up hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and a white T-shirt."
