24-HOUR ROAD CLOSURE: Mystery '˜police incident' closes road in Northampton

Forensics officers are investigating an incident that has closed a road in Northampton for 24 hours.

Billing Brook Road in Northampton has been closed by police

Officers have closed the Billing Brook Road between the A43 and North Holme Court, to conduct investigations.

Police were called to the area at around 1.45pm on Tuesday.

The road closure is likely to remain for 24-hours and motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible.

Northamptonshire Police has not released any further details of the incident to the media and none of the officers at the scene are giving any information.
