18-year-old woman dies after car crashes into Northamptonshire railway bridge

An 18-year-old woman has died after a car crashed into a railway bridge in a village in Northamptonshire.

The teenager, who was a front seat passenger, died after black Ford Fiesta collided with the railway bridge near to Church Brampton in Harlestone Road, near Northampton, at about 11.30pm on Thursday.

The driver was taken to hospital and has since been released.
