People will be offered crime prevention advice for the whole family at a free community fun day hosted by police in Kettering on Saturday, November 8.
There will also be bike security etching and a range of activities at the event, which takes place at the pavilion at Rockingham Road Pleasure Park between 11am and 5pm.
As well as Northamptonshire Police, the fun day is being supported by Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service, Northamptonshire County Council’s trading standards and Kettering Borough Council.
The activities include face painting and the opportunity to experience sitting behind the controls of a police car and fire vehicle. Free crime prevention items are available to visitors as well as goodies for the children.
Visitors will also have the chance to talk directly with police officers and other organisations about any concerns they may have.
