Northamptonshire saw one of the highest sign-up rates for a quit smoking campaign which ran last month.
The scheme, dubbed Stoptober, saw 3,767 people in the county pledge to kick the habit – ranking Northamptonshire eighth of 152 local authority areas across England.
Thousands of Stoptober information packs were distributed to businesses, colleges and healthcare providers, with various activities held across the county.
