There are just four more weeks until a little bit of festive cheer comes to Corby at Corby Council’s Christmas market.
From 10am to 7pm on Friday, November 27, and 10am to 6pm on Saturday, November 28, more than 30 stalls will be set up in James Ashworth VC Square outside of the Corby Cube for you to start, or maybe finish, your Christmas shopping.
The market will have everything from Christmas wreaths and small decorated trees to children’s books, gifts and cards.
And just to make sure your bellies are full of the festivities there will also be a hog roast, beer, hand-made fudge, cheeses, pickles and chutneys available to buy.
Corby Radio will be attending on Saturday to set the seasonal scene and there will be various other entertainments including a choir, brass band and a return appearance from Olaf the Snowman!
Leader of Corby Council Cllr Tom Beattie said: “We are very pleased to be holding the Christmas market for the third year running and hope that many will come along and join in the festivities.
“The Christmas market not only gets us in the spirit of the holidays but more importantly it showcases some of what our fantastic small local businesses have to offer.”
There are still a few stalls available should a business be interested in joining the market.
