Pupils at a Corby school enjoyed a visit from paratriathlete Jimmy Goddard who held workshops on teamwork and goal-setting.
The visit to Danesholme Primary School was organised by local business Pacesetter Sports.
Jimmy is a former British Army officer who was left paralysed by a rock-climbing accident in South Wales and is now a paratriathlete on the British national team.
His journey into elite sport included climbing Kilimanjaro in a wheelchair and hand-cycling across New Zealand.
After a morning assembly, Jimmy worked with Year 6 pupils in workshops covering a number of topics including disability awareness, teamwork, getting ready for secondary school and goal-setting.
