A new collection of songs telling the stories of Corby pioneers, their hopes and dreams will be performed by the town’s Deep Roots Tall Trees choir.

New Town Pioneers, written and performed by the choir, led by Gareth Fuller, internationally-acclaimed singer Barb Jungr and Head of Snakes, celebrates the people who came to Corby to build new lives.

It was first performed at The Core theatre,in the town, in November last year.

New Town Pioneers will be performed at The Arc, Rockingham Road, on Thursday, February 6, at Oakley Vale Community Centre, Butland Road, on Friday, February 7 and at Gretton Village Hall on Saturday, February 8. All the performances start at 7.30pm and tickets are £5.
