Singers, dancers and musicians from Corby are staging a charity show at The Core theatre in the town to raise funds for the NSPCC.

It has been organised by Corby councillor Ann Brown and takes place at the theatre on Saturday, January 19, starting at 2.30pm.

Cllr Brown said: “The show has local groups taking part, giving their time to help this cause.

“Unfortunately the NSPCC is seeing more and more cases of child cruelty and poverty and I feel our support is very worthwhile.

“The show will have singing and dancing for all ages and promises to be an afternoon of enjoyment for everyone.”

Taking part in Let’s Sing and Dance for the NSPCC are the Helen King School of Dance, Kevin Costello School of Irish Dance, Rosie Metaxa Egyptian Dance, Amanda Gibson School of Highland Dance, Nene Valley Dance School, Oakley Rangers, Big About Singing and Eclipse Performing Arts.

Tickets are £6.50 for adults and £3.50 for concessions and they are available from The Core box office on 01536 470470.
