Shoppers have the chance to meet their local police officers at a crime prevention shop set up in the town centre.
The shop, which is in High Street near to the Rose and Crown public house in Rushden, is open until Friday.
The shop is open from 1pm to 3pm and provides an opportunity for shoppers to drop in to get crime prevention advice from officers and speak to any members of the local police team about any concerns they have.
PC Matt Hart, a town centre beat officer, said: “We are working hard to reduce thefts and drug-related burglaries and robberies in Rushden.
“The shop has been loaned to us by a local business owner at no cost and is staffed by a PCSO and Neighbourhood Watch.
“I am there when not patrolling the town so please come in and see us if there is anything worrying you or if you want some crime prevention advice.”
