The company which operates the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel at Corby has gone into administration.

It is being marketed for sale along with six other hotels and administrators say they hope to find a suitable buyer.

Peter Holder, Nick Cropper and Anne O’Keefe, partners at advisory and restructuring specialists Zolfo Cooper, were appointed joint administrators over Barinbrook (Central) Limited and Barinbrook Limited, the group, on February 26

A statement from the administrators says the hotels will continue to trade as usual while the available options, including selling them, are assessed.

As well as the Corby hotel, the group operates Himley Hotel, Dudley; Quality Hotel, Bury St Edmunds; Quality Hotel, Colchester; Quality Hotel, Peterborough; Cromwell Hotel, Stevenage and Quality Hotel, Kings Lynn.

While the Best Western Rockingham Forest Hotel in Corby is a freehold property, the remainder are leasehold.

Peter Holder, Partner at Zolfo Cooper, said: “We welcome expressions of interest from third parties to acquire any or all of the hotels. We would also like to thank the staff for their continued support and professionalism during this process.”
