More than 80 students had their achievements celebrated at a special evening this week.
The students from the Ferrers Specialist Arts College in Higham Ferrers took part in the school’s annual Celebration of Achievement Evening for parents and pupils on Tuesday, July 10.
The students were nominated by their teachers for awards recognising excellence and outstanding effort and achievement across all faculty areas as well as for special awards such as Musician of the Year, Best Sporting Effort, The Barry Sauntson Award for Science and the Principal’s Cup.
Principal Jonathan Giles said: “It is always a pleasure to take the time to recognise and reward our students’ achievements.
“Every day, in every lesson, there are students working hard, achieving well and beating their personal best.
“Every day, there are many other ways in which students excel and perform at levels beyond our and their own expectations.
“This evening celebrates all those many successes - the many and varied achievements that make us so proud of our students.”
