A Kettering pub has hosted a Christmas dinner for members of a charity whose base was burgled this month.
Thieves broke into the headquarters of Kettering Mind, stealing £450 set aside for a Christmas dinner.
After learning about their plight, staff at the Wayfarers Inn in London Road, local businesses MA Coales, Booker, Pauleys and Big Bopper Entertainment, decided to offer the charity a replacement dinner. Mind’s Jo Pettitt said: “It’s been wonderful. It shows how everyone comes together when something not very nice happens.”
