A MAN plans to cycle from London to Paris in a charity fund-raiser in memory of his late wife.

Chris Hole, former director at Tresham College’s Kettering campus, will be cycling 300 miles in July to raise money for Cransley Hospice and Cancer Research UK.

Chris has chosen to pay for all personal expenses himself so that funds raised will be divided between the charities.

So far he has raised more than £3,000.

His training consists of a gruelling 70 miles each training day, which he does four times a week.

He said: “ Both charities are worthy causes benefiting locals.

“I would like to thank everybody who has supported me so far – and for everybody else, come and donate 50p.”
