The chieftain for this year’s Highland Gathering has been revealed.
Corby Highland Gathering committee has announced that the honour will go to Steve Noble.
Steve was born in Glasgow but came to Corby with thousands of other Scots in the 1960s.
Steve, a local business man who runs a pub in Corby Old Village, has been a great supporter of the gathering for the past 10 years.
He recently became chairman of Corby Town FC and does lots of work with charities in the area.
He helps run a travel section which travels all over following Scotland’s national football team and the committee said it is really pleased Steve has agreed to take on the role.
The show will be held on Sunday, July 13.
