Charity has a new trustee

A Gretton-based charity that helps youngsters improve their skills in sport, the creative and performing arts has a new trustee.

The Travers Foundation has appointed John Leslie, a project manager, as a trustee.

He joins businessman and founder Terry Forsey and athlete William Sharman.

John has been a member of the Round Table movement, and has acted as local fundraising chairman. He organised the charity’s fundraising Dance Around Your Handbags events as well as the Rock’n’Roll with Laughter music and comedy show in 2013 and the Jive Honey concert at Gretton Music Festival in 2014.
