Organisers have hailed a Kettering charity Christmas fair earlier this month as a great success.

The fair, at St Andrew’s Church, Rockingham Road, included stalls by a host of local and national charities, including the Kettering Centre for the Unemployed, Kettering Samaritans, Crazy Hats and Cransley Hospice.

Visitors were entertained by St Andrew’s School choir, St Andrew’s Church choir, Park Road School choir and the Salvation Army Youth Band.

Christine Smith, on the church’s Christmas fair committee, said: “We had a great turnout and all our charity stallholders raised a good amount of money.”
