There will be some changes to East Midlands Trains services on some routes on Sunday (December 27) due to a short term issue with driver availability.

The majority of services will continue to run as planned, but customers are advised to check the timetable before travel as some services will not operate.

Full details of service alterations and customer advice are available on the website for East Midlands Trains, which covers Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough stations.

An East Midlands Trains spokesman said: “We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause to some customers.

“We are running as many rail services as possible, as well as replacement bus services on some routes, and we are arranging for other train operators to accept our tickets.

“Extra staff will be on hand at stations throughout the day to help customers with their journeys.”

Customers planning to travel on Sunday are strongly advised to check eastmidlandstrains.co.uk or Twitter @EMTrains for the latest advice and service information.
