PEOPLE interested in the NHS are invited to have their say on the future of healthcare in Corby.
A event called Corby, My Healthcare will take place from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, June 19, at the Corby Cube.
It has been organised by NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), which will take responsibility for purchasing health services in Corby in April 2013.
The public event marks the beginning of a new era that will see GPs working with the public to shape the future of healthcare.
CCG interim chairman Dr Peter Wilczynski said: “This event gives the opportunity for Corby residents and patients to get involved and let us know what areas they would like to see prioritised.”
The event includes presentations and discussion sessions on the plans as well as a chance to meet members of staff from GP practices. The event is free and includes light refreshments.
