Celebrating the county's cuisine '“ for five years!

Made In Northamptonshire held a successful fifth birthday party at Beckworth Emporium on Monday, January 25

The celebration of Made In Northamptonshire took place at Beckworth Emporium – the same venue where the group was first launched – and saw producers, food retailers and eateries meet to share and celebrate their achievements, many of which they attribute to the support that MIN’s networking platform has offered.

MIN was set up by Rachel Mallows of The Mallows Company who, through her role as Director of the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards, said she recognised that linking producers could be a big boost for the county, not just for the businesses involved but also for those wanting to ‘buy local’.

The celebration concluded with a chance for guests to network and a presentation to Rachel in recognition of her hard work and dedication to the group by Beckworth’s co-owner David Brown.
