CCTV: Police want to speak to these people about handbag theft in Kettering supermarket

Police have released CCTV images of a man and a woman they think may have information about a theft at a Kettering supermarket.

The incident happened on Friday, October 28, between 12.15pm and 12.30pm at the Aldi in Northfield Avenue.

An elderly shopper had her purse stolen from her handbag which she had placed in a trolley while shopping.

An unsuccessful attempt was later made to withdraw cash using her bank card.

Officers are appealing for the couple pictured, or anybody who recognises them, to contact police.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
