Cash and jewellery stolen from Wellingborough house

Cash and jewellery has been stolen from a home in Wellingborough, police have said.

The house in Eastfield Road was broken into sometime between 4pm on Saturday, April 5 and 3pm on Sunday, April 6.

When the owners of the house returned home, they found the windows had been smashed and that intruders had rummaged through the property.

Among the items taken were a pair of triangular amber earrings, a matching necklace and a number of rings.

Witnesses, or anyone with any information, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
