Police are appealing for witnesses after two cars were broken into in a Kettering street in the space of two days.

The first incident took place in Victoria Street, Kettering, on Sunday, July 12, when two people broke into a car at some point between 2.55am and 3.05am.

Nothing was stolen and the pair are believed to have made off towards Montagu Street.

One of the offenders was described as a white man, of medium build and he wore a grey t-shirt and dark coloured jeans.

The second offender was described as a white woman, with blond, shoulder length, curly hair and wearing a black lace dress.

The second incident saw a man break into a car and steal items including two Sat Navs, two mobile phone chargers and a nebuliser.

The incident also happened in Victoria Street, Kettering, just after 10pm, on Tuesday, July 14.

The offender was a man in his mid-20s, with short dark hair and he wore a light grey hooded top.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding this incident.
