Following on from the huge success of last year’s ROSE Careers Fairs, The Mallows Company is hosting another at Wellingborough Library from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday, February 21.

Previously, more than 250 jobseekers attended, meeting employers such as MCE Insurance, Greencore and Transline, which were all keen to fill their vacancies.

On February 21 there will be 20 employers, more than 100 vacancies and the opportunity for jobseekers to get advice and help with job applications.

Rachel Mallows, from The Mallows Company, which co-ordinates the Rose (Real Options for Skills and Employment) Careers Fairs, said: “Jobseekers are always overwhelmed with the help and vacancies offered on the day.

“The Rose Careers Fair really made a difference to the lives of some jobseekers, with many gaining interviews and jobs.

“In an age of digital recruitment it is a great opportunity for people to talk to employers face to face.”

Feedback from jobseekers and employers has been just as positive.

Ken, who at the time was looking for a job, said: “I have arranged a job interview today and I’m very excited to have this opportunity to get back into employment.”

Natasha from Aimhigher was impressed by the quality of job seekers and said: “We had a lot of experienced people. I’m really shocked as to why they’re out of work. Those people have a lot to offer.”

National Careers Service experienced advisers from The Mallows Company will be on hand to offer free career guidance and support.

There are still opportunities for employers and recruitment agencies to display their vacancies.
