A WELLINGBOROUGH care home has been issued with a formal warning by the Care Quality Commission for failing to meet the needs of the people in its care.
The regulator has demanded that standards at Harmony Care, Midland Road, must be improved or its owners will face further action.
The warning followed an unannounced visit by inspectors on April 11 to follow up concerns raised at a previous visit.
Inspectors found a need for improvements to in relation to assessing and monitoring the quality of service provision.
They also found that home had submitted an action plan to commission following concerns raised at a previous inspection but had not implemented all of the improvements, and that there was no record of any action being taken as a result of concerns found during a medication audit, which included fixing a medication fridge that had stopped working correctly.
