Cannabis factory found at village property

Dozens of cannabis plants have been destroyed after being discovered by police officers.

The factory was unearthed after officers executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address in Westfields, Easton on the Hill.

Officers searched the property on Friday, September 13, where they discovered 64 young plants and 24 semi-mature plants almost ready for harvest.

Inquiries are now ongoing to identify those responsible for the cannabis plants.
