Calendar girls’ joy at money raised

A fundraising mission launched by Thrapston’s ‘calendar girls’ has been successful in recouping a stolen £3,000 for a county hospice.

The money was stolen following a previous charity fundraising event.

But Wendy Brown, of Slipston, organised the production of the saucy calendar, featuring pictures of a scantily-clad group of friends, and it went on to sell 354 copies, raising £3,055 for Cransley Hospice.

There are still copies of the calender available and they can be bought by searching for ‘Calendar Girls of Thrapston Supporting Cransley Hospice’ on eBay.
