TICKETS are available for a theatrical production being staged at the Pemberton Centre in Rushden from May 16 to May 19.
A 27-strong cast from Theatreworkz theatre company will perform in a show called Parade, which is based on a true story about the trial of Leo Frank – a Jewish factory supervisor who was accused of the murder of an employee in 1913 in Atlanta, Georgia, 50 years after the end of the American Civil war.
Proceeds from the show will be donated by the group to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Theatreworkz co-founder Neil Richardson said: “While it’s not well known to the public, Parade is revered by musical theatre fans with award winning productions recently staged at London’s Donmar Warehouse and Southwark Playhouse and originally produced on Broadway.”
Tickets are £12 and concessions and group discounts are available. To book call 01536 744615 or visit www.theatreworkz.org.
Theatreworkz was set up in 2008 and has supported a number of charities.
