Top-tier changes at Macildowie

East Midlands recruitment firm Macildowie is expanding its leadership team to meet the demands of its growing business.

The company, which has offices across the East Midlands, is developing its top tier as it aims to achieve significant growth over the next five years.

James Calder, who has been with the company for 15 years, is taking on the role of chief executive and three new positions have been established for associate directors.

Mr Calder said: “We have ambitious plans for the next five years and my new role is to ensure we are the go-to brand for our customers, candidates and people wanting to enhance their own career in the recruitment industry.

“We have a fantastic team and coupled with our innovation and focus on the customer, I believe we can redefine the standards of recruitment across the Midlands.”

The new associate director positions will be filled by Arran Jaiswal, Matthew Gissing and James Lawson.

In addition Alex Alcock takes on the role of Nottingham manager, Will Thomas is promoted to sales and marketing manager and James Stewart will become head of business systems.

Mr Calder said: “These positions will be discipline focused while supporting the delivery of the companies strategy for growth.

“They will be working with their team to provide leadership, coaching and sales direction across the business.”

The development of the new leadership team comes on the back of a period of growth for Macilodwie with a new sales and marketing division now in place sitting alongside existing areas of expertise in finance, human resources, procurement and supply chain.
