Surveyor joins consultancy

The Kettering office of rural property and business consultancy Berrys has appointed a new surveyor.

Judy Pearson will be working as a senior practitioner in the team led by Berrys partner Jon Stables, dealing with both valuations and professional advice.

A graduate of Harper Adams University College with a farming background, Judy completed her qualifications with Northamptonshire consultancy Samuel Rose, which is now a part of Berrys.

She joined Berrys from Chesterton Humberts in Stamford where she worked in the rural department in a range of projects including formal valuations, tenancy and planning work. She is also studying law at the University of Leicester by correspondence which she will complete this year.

Judy sits on the Council for the Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers and is part of the events committee for the Agricultural Law Association for the eastern region.

She also runs her own blog and twitter campaign under the name Blonde Ag Advisor in which she writes on topical professional issues relevant to farmers and land owners.

Jon Stables said: “Judy will be a valuable addition to Berrys, supporting our valuation team and delivering general practice and landlord and tenant advice.”

Judy can be contacted at the Kettering office on 01536 532399, mobile 07525 905826 or by email at See her blog at
