A new £125,000 hub to nurture start-up businesses in Corby has proved to be the ideal location for budding entrepreneurs.

The 3e Hub, in Earlstrees Court, off Earlstrees Road, is full except for one unit just a few months after opening.

Property investor Gary Ellerd-Elliott, who created 3e, said: “I believe we are making a community for entrepreneurs to be collaborative not competitive.

“Already we have seen our tenants help and support each other to grow and thrive.

“Two of our tenants have also taken on their first employees in recent weeks.”

There is now only one of the nine offices available to let and a hot desk/co-working facility.

Businesses moving into the hub are a combination of franchises and start-ups that have outgrown home offices.

These include PR agency Ballyhoo PR; WeBuyAnyCar.com; a virtual assistant business called RDVA; The Vino Van and magicians Fine Entertainments. Chrysalis Gym has moved into the ground floor.

The two-storey building contained old offices and racking and storage on the ground floor and underwent a £125,000 refurbishment over 16 weeks.

The hub has superfast broadband and each office has new office furniture.
