Train services between Kettering and Corby have been cancelled today (Thurs) because of a fourth day of strike action by train drivers and operators.
East Midlands Trains is running a replacement shuttle bus service between the stations and has told passengers their tickets will be accepted on Stagecoach’s X4 service between the towns.
Talks are due to take place today between East Midlands Trains and the ASLEF union in an attempt to resolve further unnecessary strike action.
Clare McCartney, HR Director for East Midlands Trains, said: “We are disappointed passengers are still being disrupted today at the same time ASLEF have agreed to meet us for to talks designed to resolve this unnecessary dispute.
“We hope that following today’s talks they put passengers first and call off any future strikes.”
