A Kettering-based motorcycle clothing and accessories firm has announced it is to represent Italian motorcycle company Rizoma.

Motogear, which moved to new premises in the Telford Way Industrial Estate earlier this year, will now distribute the Milan company’s products in the UK.

It is the latest in a series of brands working with Motogear. Others include Italian clothing giants Spidi and Europe’s largest helmet manufacturer, the Nolan Group.

Rizoma produces more than 1,300 items for a wide range of motorcycles, from European models such as Aprilia, Ducati, BMW and Triumph to Japanese machines from Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha.

Rizoma claims to embody a ‘Made in Italy’ philosophy by combining elegant design with attention to detail.

Motogear’s director Trevor Hall said: “It is a really exciting opportunity to work with Rizoma. The products are of the highest standard and complement the other premium Italian brands in Motogear’s portfolio.

“We will be working with Rizoma on a standalone basis and are fully committed to ensure that this fantastic brand is given the attention it deserves.”
