Aspiring entrepreneurs have been invited to attend a business start-up event tomorrow (Friday, June 14).
The initiative is being run by Northamptonshire County Council and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP), who have teamed up to try and support anyone hoping to crack the business industry.
The event is open to anyone who is thinking about starting a business as well as anyone who has started a business within the last year. Essential information from banks, solicitors and local business support organisations will be available free of charge.
Colin Lewis business support manager at NEP, said the event would provide an opportunity to meet with like-minded business people and may help those who find starting a business to be a scary and lonely thing. He also assured those starting up a new business they would not be alone, adding: “This event will showcase the range of support available in Northamptonshire, including workshops and one-to-one support.”
This free business support event will offer those who attend a range of resources with useful information and will also point them in the direction of a series of free workshops such as improving business planning and using social media.
The event will take place from 10am to 1pm at the Central Library in Northampton. If any additional information is required, contact Sara Kennedy on 01604 361460 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
