A Corby firm has worked with Marks & Spencer to create exotic juices that are proving a hit with customers.
Orchard House Foods uses over 400,000kg of fresh fruit and vegetables each week –the weight of a Boeing 747 – as it blends and bottles 22 types of smoothies and juices for the high street retailer.
Established over 30 years ago, Orchard House Foods employs over 50 people and is the UK’s market leader in ready-to-eat fresh fruit products and has been working with M&S for almost three decades. This year it has developed a variety of fresh fruit smoothies and juices.
New Product developer manager Alex Ryder said: “We pride ourselves on producing innovative and memorable food and work at least 12 months in advance to research popular trends.”
