Residents of Burton Latimer have been urged to return all electoral registration forms to make sure they can vote in next month’s town council by-election.

The three candidates standing for election on Thursday, October 15, are Dominic Armstrong (Labour), Mick Roche (Independent) and Claire Sevier (UKIP).

All forms must be returned by no later than Tuesday, September 29.

Kettering Council’s electoral services manager Ian White said: ““Households in Burton Latimer will have received a household enquiry form asking residents to check whether the information that currently appears on the electoral register for those living at their address is correct.

“This is part of the council’s annual voter registration canvass.

“So far we have received about 60 per cent of them back.”

Voters can also go online to the registration website and complete their details.
