ASHLEIGH Butler and Pudsey took to the stage in front of millions of people tonight to win the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The 17-year-old from Wellingborough and her dog Pudsey had spent hours this week perfecting the final routine.
And they were one of the favourites to win ahead of tonight’s show.
Her main competition for the £500,000 prize money and a place on the Royal Variety Performance was singing duo Jonathan and Charlotte.
Former Britain’s Got Talent finalist Faryl Smith from Kettering showed her support for the pair earlier this week and urged people from across the county to pick up the phone and vote for them.
Staff and pupils at Wrenn School, Wellingborough, where Ashleigh is in the lower sixth form, were also backing the talented duo and gathered to watch the final tonight.
For all the details about tonight’s final and reaction from Ashleigh and Pudsey’s fans, see Monday’s Evening Telegraph.
