Boy, 15, robbed in Kettering

Cash was stolen from a teenager as he rode his bike along a Kettering street.

Police are appealing for information about the street robbery in Thorngate Street, Kettering, which took place on Monday, November 26.

Between 5.30pm and 6pm, a 15-year-old boy was riding his mountain bike along Montagu Street into Thorngate Street.

He was with a friend who was walking alongside him and they made their way towards Mill Road.

A police spokesman said: “As they did so, they were approached by two males who intimidated them and one of them stole cash from the boy on the bike.”

The main offender was a white boy, aged 15 or 16 and about 5ft 9in.

He wore a black Nike hooded top and bottoms and a black Nike beanie hat.

The other offender was white, of a similar age and height and of medium build with a pale complexion.

He wore a hooded red cardigan which had large black buttons and jeans.
