Boy, 12, injured in Corby collision

A driver who might have seen a crash in which a 12-year-old boy was injured is being asked to contact police.

The child was hit by a taxi on Gainsborough Road in Corby on Thursday, November 13, at about 3pm.

Northamptonshire Police has today (Tuesday, December 23) made a fresh appeal for help.

Officers say the boy walked out between two parked vehicles and was struck by the side of a passing Sky Cabs taxi. The driver stopped to see if he was alright before driving on.

The victim received treatment for a broken wrist and bruising.

Now police say they are appealing for the driver of the taxi to get in touch to help with our investigation into the incident.
